Less familiar to kiters, but actually one of the oldest styles of kites dating back 1000's of years is the Rokkaku kite and also know as a fighter kite. The Penta Series depicts humorous flying objects on an extremely stable platform. These creatures will fly easily. If you want to draw a crowd, try flying one of these Rokkaku or Penta Kites.
